Our Kindergarten program reflects the Early Years Learning Framework. Our program goals derive from our centre philosophy, family, children and community input. We structure our program around our children's needs, strengths, areas of improvement and interests.
We aim to assist our children in achieving milestones and skills to allow them to be ready for starting school. We document every individual child's skills and development and we also base each activity around that child's development. Not every activity is the same for each child as each child is on different learning levels to their peers.
Our room has a weekly schedule that encourages consistency within the environment. Our program covers a range of different activities and lessons e.g. Music, Physical activities, Language and Literacy, Numerous, Science, Health and well-being, and much more. Children have the opportunity to use the outdoor natural environment every day. Through these experiences your child will build on their knowledge, explore and express new ideas and make friends.
Our room also has a program for school aged children that come for before and after school. We plan activities for vacation care during the school holidays. All activities are age appropriate.
